Wavin's brand new fitting generation, Tigris K5/M5 has been developed from scratch by making the design ideal for the needs of the installer has been adapted. Wavin Tigris K5/M5, builds on the success and reliability delivered by its predecessor, the Tigris K1/M1.
Tigris K5/M5 has all kinds of smart solutions, including the very first of their kind to feature the innovative Acoustic Leak Alert function. While performing a pressure test with air, an unpressed Tigris K5/M5 press fitting will be heard loud and clear. Thanks to the whistle sound of 80 decibels, you'll find the unpressed fitting very easily. Even if there's a lot of noise around you. But that’s not all. The fittings also offer an improved flow and can now be pressed with multiple pressing profiles.
Wavin Tigris K5 and Tigris K1 are press fittings with bodies made of the high technical performance plastic Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU). On top, the PPSU program offers a Push-Fit solution; Tigris smartFIX.
Wavin Tigris M5 and Tigris M1 are metal press fittings with bodies made of UBA listed drinking water approved brass materials.
Both Radial Press-Fit, in PPSU or brass, cover a complete range of fittings that fit up to 75 mm muliti-layer composite pipes.
